Shipping policy

At Grand Canal, we endeavor to ship all your products in a quick, safe, and inexpensive manner. We currently ship within India. Customers registered with Grand Canal can check their order status from the Order page.

Delivery Timeline

Generally, it takes up to 3-7 business days to deliver the product across India. The working days do not include any public holidays. However, the shipping takes longer if the ordered quantities are more than 3 – 5 pieces per style or if the item ordered is under production.

Payments

  • The taxes mentioned with the invoice are calculated based on your shipping destination.
  • Delivery charges and additional charges depend on the product weight, destination, and carrier charge.
  • You can pay through Cash On Delivery (COD) or online through internet banking, American Express, Debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, IMPS, Maestro, and Paytm.

Possible reasons for shipping delay

  • An unforeseen event such as recipient unavailability.
  • Incorrect or unclear address given for the delivery.
  • Extreme weather conditions and natural calamities.
  • The region comes under administrative & political instability.
  • The shipping period of 7 business working days is not applicable
    to remote and interior locations with minimal accessibility.

Delivery obligations

  • The customer has to provide his signature as approval of receiving the order.
  • Grand Canal insures each purchase while your product is in transit until it is delivered to you.
  • On giving signature, all the responsibilities towards the shipped product are passed to the customer.
  • We don't entertain the change of address or redirection during the period of delivery.
  • Free shipping adheres to the guidelines of the shipping policy.

Shipping efforts

  • In case you are unavailable to receive the product, our Courier Agency will call in an attempt to deliver your goods.
  • If the customer is not available during the delivery, our Courier Agency will try a maximum of two delivery attempts.
  • If the first delivery attempt has failed, the second delivery attempt will be scheduled on the next working day.
  • The customer can also contact the carrier and collect your order from the carrier’s registered local office.
  • Grand Canal cannot ship the products of the same order to multiple addresses.
